Not much needs to be said here. It is simple. Pull the MC-Cable onto the cable support track, lower the upper carriage, and in seconds the cable will be cut in half and the armor will be stripped on both sides of the cut. Cables can be processed, safely, just as quickly as the operator can pull the cable into the machine and lower the upper carriage.

Due to the way the machine operates, no adjustment* is needed when using different gauges or configurations of cables. Once properly adjusted, the machine will cut 14/2 MC through 6/3 MC.

Recently, we have been asked if the machine will cut AFC’s new MC-Glide type cable. Apparently, our competitor’s machine cuts through the insulation on the internal conductors. We have processed 100’s of thousands of feet of MC-Glide without an issue; we would never have even known this was a problem unless customers had asked about it!
